Why Education is Important
Definition of Education as per Swami Vivekananda:-
Swami Vivekananda said," Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man." It enhances the character and develops the mental ability, self-confidence, self-reliance, and intelligence of the person. No words can describe the importance of education in the modern world which is highly competitive.
Right to education is a fundamental right under article 21-A which provides for free and compulsory education to all children in the age group of 6 to 14 years. But is the education given in school really offering students chance for development of critical thinking and mental ability? In the rush to finish off the syllabus the schools have been functioning on the old method of rote learning.
In today's era, where everything is becoming digital, new avenues are being explored to reach students, no matter in how remote area they reside. The internet and television channels solely dedicated to education are newly created options for every learner.
Online tuition becomes a feasible option nowadays as internet is available in villages as well as in cities.
The private tuition and coaching centers become a necessary option for a learner who want to develop these qualities. The one-on-one learning option offers individuals a chance to learn and understand things at their speed. In private tuition, the learner sets the pace and course best suited to him.
